Silly Stuff

There are many places in Canada where hydro lines have to be placed, but the terrain is so rough Hydro workers lay connected poles on the ground, then pull on the lead pole to raise the line. During one of these times, one of the crew noticed that there was more weight on the lines than anticipated, and they figured a tree branch broke somewhere down the line and was tangled up in the lines. It took a few hours to track back over the terrain, but they eventually found the culprit

This is the actual picture by the crew. They figured this full grown bull moose just happened to be close enough to the lines when they were hoisting them up, and got caught. They got the moose down safely and he wasn’t hurt, but I bet he’ll think twice before going near power lines again.

EDIT: I stated this took place in Canada, but Snopes has it listed as happening in Fairbanks, Alaska.
