Yeah, I’m going to be in the garden early this year.

Taking the recycling out to the road last week, I happened to look down on the ground near the base of the house, and saw some sprouts. Several years ago a crocus bulb ended up there and now the purple and yellow flower is the first sign of spring we see every year.

The sprouts are just popping out of the soil now, but you can already see the purple hue of the flower.

This picture was taken last Thursday.








The same plant last Tuesday.








I also have tulips coming up.








And these are the sprouts of a type of sunflower that come up every year at the back of the house.







And today, everything is covered in snow.

Yet I don’t care what those damn rodents said, spring is early this year.
