Mythical Wednesday; Celebrating the Roswell Crash

roswell alienIt’s become part of American culture. A crash in the desert by a U.F.O is still considered to be a true thing, even though no real proof was ever found. Over the years many people have claimed it was nothing but a hoax, and maybe so, but his hoax is so strong that now it’s celebrated yearly.

I think this is cool and I’d love to go just to say that I went.

The Roswell Incident might be one of the first times people actually though–actually conceived the notion, that we weren’t alone in the universe and believed it.

It’s also interesting to know that the crash happened near almost 300 miles away, almost a four hour drive from another famous New Mexico site—Los Alamos. Some have even speculated that it was the tests conducted at this facility that brought the U.F.O to earth and might have even caused the crash.

So, who’s up for a trip?

  1. We happened upon Roswell, just after their annual festival. It was pretty cool and the locals have a great sense of humor. I’d love to go back some time.

  2. I’d love to visit someday, too. I’ve had a strange experience of my own in the desert, but doubt it was aliens. It’d be cool if it was.
