About This Blog

There are so many blogs out there that talk about writing, the world doesn’t need another one. I do write about my perspective on publishing and the writing world, but this blog is about my other interests as well.

I am a pagan by heart, Wiccan by choice and I post things relative to my beliefs. Don’t worry, I won’t force it down anyone’s throat.  Comment if you wish, but please be respectful.

You may respond to my comments, I’m always open to new ideals, and again, please be respectful. You may provide me with insight as to where my logic appears weak or flawed, agree to a compromise on our positions, or consent to the fact that I’m always right and you’re utterly wrong.

Your choice.

But remember, I’m a writer. I know how to make it look like an accident.

  1. I love it! The honesty and fearlessness are refreshing. We have a lot in common that way. Thank God for another writer who doesn’t feel compelled to write endless blogs about writing. Every time I see one of those I cringe, knowing that there’s precious little left unsaid about the subject. We also have things in common spiritually, although I wouldn’t call myself a Wiccan. I’m a cross breed Druid, Pagan, Christian, Wiccan in that order. As for the picture of your cats, sweet! Thank you for connecting with me on Twitter.

Hi, Darke! A storyteller with good grammar, eh? And with hungry cats too? I can’t claim to share the spectrum of faiths that you embrace but I’m generally open-minded and will never flame anyone for having a different philosophy to me. I’m always respectful and I’ll look forward to reading your posts and your stories.

    • Hello Mark!

Thank you for your kind words and I look forward to your comments!

Heh, good grammar, not great grammar. My editors point things out to me all the time. 🙂

Hi, just wondering if you live in Kingston. I saw you on the meetup website. (Not sure when the group meets again) I’m writing a story, or trying to put it together. I wanted to get someone to look at a bit of it (to see if its any good.) Plot: I get to Heaven. I’m not in his good books though. I was asked to do something on earth. I completed task, but I questioned God about it. So, my views of Heaven etc. (Not sure if this has been done to death though.)

it might be better to give a summary or a three page outline. Reading the actual story at this stage might be torture. I think the ideas in it are good, but I need work in describing what heaven looks like. etc and development in setting scenes in general. …. ..I’ll put it together in the next few days and send.. Thanks very much. do I send through your wordpress, or can I send to your e-mail address. I’m a lunkhead with technology.

thanks again. Can I read a bit of your extensive work. I’m sure you want me to purchase it, but is there a site I can read a portion.

    • The first book I put out is free (Amazon, Kobo) and there are samples on the others that you can read as well. I always put a certain amount of each book as a sample so readers can get a feel for my work. You don’t have to buy them if you don’t want to.

Totally agree about there being too much blogs out there talking about writing (and often the corollary, getting rich!) I like your outview. And yes, our dear ghost cats haunt us from time to time…
    Be W&W !

    (well and writing)
